Create Works – Supported Workplace

The Supported Workplace is a professional creative studio designed for clients and run by talented young people gaining real-world experience. We deliver high-quality, client-ready projects while giving Trainees the chance to work in a professional environment and produce industry-standard outcomes.

Create Studio means you can kick-start your creative career with a fully funded 7-month creative studio placement for 18–24 year olds. Work on live briefs, collaborate with real clients and get one-to-one support from industry mentors. Build confidence, develop your skills and gain hands-on experience in a professional, supportive environment.

What To Expect as a Trainee

Client-facing projects

Work on live briefs for real clients, delivering outcomes that meet professional standards. You’ll learn how to manage expectations, meet deadlines and produce work that matters.

Coaching and care

Receive daily guidance from our Creative Team Leaders and one-to-one mentoring from industry professionals. You’ll get feedback, advice and support tailored to your skills and goals.

Skill development

Build confidence in your creative abilities while learning how to collaborate, problem-solve and communicate effectively in a workplace setting.

Portfolio building

By the end of your placement, you’ll leave with a professional portfolio showcasing your work and demonstrating your readiness for future creative roles or further training.
