We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative full time teaching assistant to support students on our Level 3 Games, VR and VFX course based at Leadworks, Millennium Square. The course is well established and in its fifth year allowing our students to gain access to top ranked Universities and direct employment to the industry. The successful candidate will be supported by a Head of Department and SENCo and we expect applicants to be creative, committed and considerate.
This role is ideal for an enthusiastic and personable individual with able to deliver an effective additional support to students and to have a measurable impact on progress and attainment, as well as contribute to social and emotional development. Working collaboratively with the wider support team you will enable students to identify and overcome barriers to their learning. A passion for games would definitely be an advantage.
Our Games, VR and VFX course is based in the centre of Bristol with great teaching spaces and excellent access to equipment. The ideal candidate should be able to support SEN students by implementing relevant strategies and techniques to enable all students to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential. This can be achieved through both positive academic interventions and social emotional well-being support.
