 Level 3 Extended Diploma

games, vr and vfx.

Learning how to succeed in the world of games, VR and VFX is about more than just having a technical understanding. It’s about transferring your creative flair and ability using software into the working environment with project management, communication and collaboration. By the time you leave this course, you will have the tools you need to not only build some beautiful digital things, but also to get paid doing it.

This fully rounded course will develop your skills across a number of disciplines, including 2D and 3D illustration, modelling and animation, interactive media and film, games engine programming for VR and visual effects. See your incredible ideas come to life and develop your portfolio with access to industry standard tech and support from experienced course leaders.

Across the two years you’ll work on live commercial projects, often with real clients, to give you invaluable industry experience and understanding. This is what stands students of this course apart from those who have studied A Levels, because you will have faced client feedback, worked on your project management skills and you’ll be leaving with a portfolio already stuffed full of awesome projects delivered to the standard potential employers expect.

All of our classrooms are placed within central working hubs, which put you right where the creative industries are, immersing you in the atmosphere and letting you rub shoulders with the people putting Bristol on the map for innovation and disruption.
