Boomsatsuma Partners with RPS and Martin Parr Foundation

An outdoor presentation of our first-year photography degree student's achievements is open at the Royal Photographic Society.

The exhibition consists of 20 panels, displaying the work of the first 15 students to study our BA (Hons) Documentary Photography and Print. It showcases how they have extended their creative and technical wings, flying through a range of photography skillsets during their first year, as Course Leader Sam Fordham explains:

"I'm extremely excited to see the students work in such a public and special location for photography in Bristol. We are continually building opportunities for our students to access, and be accessed by, industry, and this exhibition underlines our belief in the talent of our students. A huge thank you to both the RPS, and Martin Parr Foundation for allowing our students to exhibit their work at their site. It's a testament to their commitment to photographic education in Bristol, and we're proud to partner with them."

The exhibition builds on the longstanding exclusive education partnership between the RPS and the Martin Par Foundation with boomsatsuma, which gives our students valuable links and experiences with professional photographers. Dr Michael Pritchard FRPS, Director of Programmes, RPS, states:

"The RPS has had a long-standing relationship with boomsatsuma and it’s been inspiring to see how the teaching has evolved and is showing through the creativity now being exhibited by the students. We’re looking forward to seeing and showing further still and moving image work from the students and celebrating their achievements."
