Graduate/Alumni Vacancy
Resources Technician
Resources Technician (Graduate/Alumni Vacancy)
This opportunity is open exclusively to Boomsatsuma Higher Education graduates and alumni.
The Role
We’re looking for a proactive, organised and hands-on Technician to support the smooth day-to-day running of our creative spaces, equipment, and technical resources. Based primarily at the Tobacco Factory with occasional work across our other sites, this full-time role plays a key part in delivering high-quality support to students, tutors, and visiting professionals.
Working under the direction of the Technical Resource Manager, you’ll help prepare studio spaces, manage the use and hire of technical film and photographic equipment, support extracurricular sessions, and ensure health and safety standards are met.
About you
The ideal candidate will be a practical, well-organised individual with experience in creative and/or technical environments—someone who enjoys supporting others and making things run smoothly behind the scenes. You’re comfortable working with studio equipment in a film and/or photographic context, have a keen eye for detail, and bring a friendly, professional approach to your work.
You’ll need to be flexible, collaborative, and confident in supporting both day-to-day operations and occasional events or extracurricular sessions.
