Creative Team Leader (Part-Time)

The Role

Alongside our core training and outreach programmes, we’re launching a new in-house studio that provides 7-month traineeship opportunities to emerging creatives, producing real content for real clients internally and externally.

We’re looking for a Creative Studio Lead to help guide and grow this new studio, supported by the Projects and Business Development Manager.

You’ll co-lead a small, talented team of 18-24-year-old trainees as they take on live creative briefs – from social media content and short films, to posters, photography and event promo. Your role is part project manager, part mentor – helping the team deliver good work on time, while developing their creative skills, confidence, and professionalism along the way.

You’ll be supported by our internal team and you’ll be part of a creative and values-led working environment. We’re passionate about supporting your development as much as the trainees.

This role is part-time, freelance, and ideal for someone who wants to take on more creative responsibility, team leadership, and meaningful mentoring.

About You

The ideal candidate is a confident creative who enjoys making things happen – and helping others do the same.

You’ve got some experience managing creative projects and you’re comfortable guiding a project from idea to delivery. Although not required to be an expert in everything – you’re familiar with a range of tools and formats, and you know how to get the best out of a small team working together.

You’re calm, organised and collaborative. You can spot when someone’s struggling, offer constructive feedback, and help a team move forward without taking over. You know how to collaborate with respect, care, clarity and a sense of humour when needed.

You’re excited by the idea of mentoring – not just managing. You want to create a space where emerging creatives can build their confidence, learn real industry habits, and deliver work they’re proud of.
