Experience what it's like to work in many film and television production roles.

You bring the creativity and a drive to work hard, and we’ll help you build the technical know-how, experience and theoretical understanding to find your path. Get your hands on industry-standard equipment to capture and edit professional videos, and leave us with a top-quality two-minute showreel that lets the world know you’re out there.

Film and Television is a competitive industry to get into, but we’re here to help you get your foot in the door. You'll learn professional on-set standards, experience multiple crew roles, and learn how to direct actors and crew. Not only that, but you’ll spend everyday on a living and breathing film and television set at The Bottle Yard Studios.

CONTENT

As a Film and Television Production Student you'll learn how to realise a creative vision while developing an understanding of film and television industry expectations. Across a wide range of projects you'll engage with clients, get to showcase your work and gain experience operating in a studio setting. Insight into marketing and personal branding are also a key feature of the course, which helps you to distinguish yourself as a young creative.

Where can this course take you?

Graduates of Film and Television could choose to apply for entry level positions in film studios and media agencies. Jobs in film and television are varied and include roles such as runner, grip, camera operator, lighting technician, set designer, and colourist.

LOCATIONS

All of our classrooms are placed within central working hubs that put you right where the creative industries are. You'll spend lots of time working at Bottle Yard Studios with opportunities to meet professionals within the film and TV industry.

APPLY NOW

Courses for students aged 16-18 are fully funded, however we ask for an annual £150 studio fee to cover enrichment costs. You'll be eligible to apply for a discretionary bursary to cover this and to assist with travel costs.
