Film Scene Recreation
Scene Recreation is a focused, technical exercise where students replicate an existing scene shot-for-shot. They focus on shot size, camera movement, framing and how actors interact with the camera. It’s all about understanding how those choices shape the mood and meaning of a moment. This is a deep-dive into the technical craft, making a detailed, professional shot list and learning how every element works together to guide the audience’s experience. It’s reverse-engineering with purpose, helping students see exactly what goes into building a powerful scene.
