Head of Department for Art & Design

The role

We’re looking for an inspiring Head of Department for Art & Design to lead our Level 3 programme and help shape the next generation of creative talent.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a leader, teacher and practitioner with a strong Art and/or Design specialism to join our college leadership team and drive a high-quality, industry-informed student experience. You’ll provide leadership across the department, support and develop staff, contribute to curriculum innovation, and ensure students are supported to progress into further study, training or employment.

Alongside departmental leadership, you’ll contribute to teaching across the programme (ideally with a Graphic Design focus), helping students build confidence, technical skills and professional ambition through inclusive, project-based learning.

This role would suit someone who combines creative vision with strong educational leadership and wants to make a genuine impact in a progressive, student-centred environment.
